Platform Licence

By accessing EPS Exam you agree to be bound by the Lacspace Client Licence and these platform terms. This page explains who owns the software, what you may and may not do with it, and which Lacspace licence covers each part.

Effective: 7 October 2026 · Updated: 7 October 2026

1. Ownership & Rights

Proprietary rights

The EPS Exam platform — this website, the admin and institute portals, the mobile app, the API, the exam-room engine, the colour-vision test, the payment and verification flows, design systems, database schemas and every line of source code behind them — is the exclusive intellectual property of Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. ("Lacspace"), or is licensed to Lacspace by its respective owners.

Licensed use

EPS Exam Dot Com, Kathmandu, Nepal ("EPS Exam") operates this platform under a valid Lacspace Client Licence granted through a signed engagement. Your access as a student, teacher or institute is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right, subject to these terms and to our Terms & Conditions.

Your content stays yours

Exam sets, questions, listening audio, images, books, notices and other learning material published on EPS Exam are owned by EPS Exam or its content partners — not by Lacspace. Your personal data, answers and results belong to you and are handled under our Privacy Policy. This licence covers the software, not the content it carries.

No open source

Unless stated otherwise on this page for a specific component, the software and assets of this platform are proprietary and are not provided under any open-source licence (MIT, GPL, Apache or similar).

2. Usage Restrictions

Prohibited actions

  • ✕Reselling, sublicensing, leasing, renting or redistributing the platform or any of its components.
  • ✕Reverse-engineering, decompiling, disassembling or otherwise attempting to discover the source code, models or algorithms.
  • ✕Modifying, adapting, translating or creating derivative works based on the platform.
  • ✕Using the platform's proprietary logic, exam engine, data or designs to build a competing service or product.
  • ✕Scraping, crawling, bulk-downloading or automated extraction of questions, audio, images, results or user data without written permission.
  • ✕Sharing accounts, circumventing exam timers, entitlement checks or payment verification, or interfering with the service for other students.
  • ✕Removing or altering any copyright, trademark or licence notice, including the "Technology Partner & Infrastructure by Lacspace" attribution.

Fair use

Normal use — browsing the catalogue, sitting exams you are entitled to, reviewing your own answer sheets, downloading your own data — is always allowed. Automated access is subject to rate limits and is audit-logged.

3. Commercial Terms

Commercial use

A valid, paid licence from Lacspace is mandatory for any commercial deployment, white-labelling or re-hosting of this software. EPS Exam holds such a licence for its own operations; it does not extend to any third party.

Institute & teacher accounts

Institutes use the institute portal under EPS Exam's licence and EPS Exam's own commercial terms with them. An institute's access covers its own students and batches only.

Violation consequences

Any unauthorised use, reproduction or distribution of this software is a material breach of this agreement and an infringement of copyright. Lacspace and EPS Exam reserve the right to suspend access immediately and to seek injunctive relief, damages and legal costs.

4. Termination & Enforcement

Termination of rights

The right to access this platform ends immediately if you breach any of these terms. On termination you must stop using the platform; purchased exam access may be withdrawn without refund where the breach is wilful.

Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of Nepal and by applicable international copyright treaties. Disputes about the software's intellectual property are addressed to Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd.; disputes about your purchase or account are addressed to EPS Exam under our Terms & Conditions.

Reporting

Report suspected piracy, scraping or misuse of this platform to legal@lacspace.com, and security issues to security@lacspace.com. Good-faith reporters are never retaliated against.

5. Which Lacspace licence covers what

Lacspace licenses its work in four tiers (see the Lacspace Licence Centre). EPS Exam uses three of them:
